Goodreads Reading Challenge 2015, Part I: Books I Adored

Hello people!

May is almost out already and I must confess I have no idea where the time flew 🙂

Anyway, at the beginning of this year I set out on a the quest of reading 20 books before 2016.

I’ve always been a book addict, and I decided that this year I’ll try and keep count of the books I read, the books I liked and the ones that, well, didn’t appeal to me all that much.

Comes May 2015, and guess what, my Goodreads 2015 reading challenge says congrats 😀

So now I’ve read 21 books, I decided to share my experience with some of these books in a series of posts.

The first post is about the books I really really really… well you get the picture, the ones I skipped sleep over 🙂 *well, sleep and supervisor assigned work*

These books really impressed me, put me on the edge of my seat and brought tears to my eyes at times.

    1. Some Girls Are by Courtney Summers:

This one was really something. The meanest of them all becomes victim to the suffering she put people through. It kept me on my toes the entire time, I’d advice you to give it a try 🙂

    2. The Mirror Empire by Kameron Hurley:

This one is, by all means, the most original thing I’ve read in a long time. Following the lives of many characters who are all bound to each other in ways they have yet to discover, and the chronicles of two worlds as they clash for survival as the life of one can only continue if the other fades away. I expect there will be more worlds in the war in the following book, which by the way I can’t wait for 🙂

        So until the next post,

Grab a book, get some tea and read away.

Seekingsomepeace 🙂
