Hello everyone,
How is it going?
It’s the 29 th of march which means only two days left till the first of April and Nanowers know what that means!
Yep, it’s NaNo Camp for April 2014.
Since I was and still am so very busy, I was hesitant to participate and wait till July.
Then I thought, I should just try.
It’s not like I have absolutely no time to write, I should just set a small goal and work hard.
And my NaNo novel had gone through editing and it was decided it needs to get re-written with a better plot and many changes.
Killing off some characters, merging others and changing the heroine’s back story.
So, I signed up.
Goal: 30k… Not much I know, but it’s a good start, I’ll finish things up all the way till July.
Can manage 1k a day with my schedule? We’ll see 🙂
Novel: A dagger’s soul, new synopsis has yet to be written 🙂
I started on my new outline and I feel very… well, worried that I won’t reach my goal, but where is the fun in quitting without trying, right?
So, any other campers out there??
See you guys later,
Seekingsomepeace
I’m kind of in the same boat, actually. I wasn’t going to, but then I went to their website to see when the second one was, and just had this moment of “Maaan…. I want to go back to camp…” So I signed up too. 🙂 Camp is just so inexplicably relaxing!
Well, good luck!
I’m giving camp a shot to see if I can finish my NaNo project. It probably needs about 20k more, and then I can give it an edit and polish. 🙂
I hope I can get my novel to a better state during this camp, good luck with yours 🙂
Thank you! Good luck to you as well 🙂
Thanks 🙂
I signed up for April camp at the beginning of March and forgot till yesterday, so I’m committed now! It’s my first camp and I’m only doing 10 000 words of short stories. I plan to take it easy but push myself to be more creative with my writing. Good luck with your goals! 😀
Short stories? Maybe I’ll try a couple of those if I manage to reach my goal. 10k sounds reasonable, I hope you enjoy the camp. I really enjoyed it last July 🙂
